Such a strong team represented Kozminski University today at the 2nd Business Poland World Congress.
The discussions focused on what lies ahead in 2025, how to support sustainable development without limiting economic potential, how to prevent talent from leaving Poland, how artificial intelligence is reshaping the rules of business, and whether the digital world has spun out of control.
Our Rector, Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, handled a rapid-fire round of questions on whether we have managed to raise a new generation of global leaders — and surprised everyone by saying that Polish universities do not need public funding as much as they need to build endowment capital with the support of businesses and donors.
Prof. Marcin Piątkowski emphasized that as Poles we should “be praud” and “think global” — and we couldn’t be prouder that this world-class expert is part of our academic community.
And for those who stayed until the very end, there was a bittersweet moment — Prof. Leszek Balcerowicz shared some thought-provoking reflections on what still needs to be done in Poland to improve the quality of life.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to take part in such an inspiring and insightful event.
