The PHH Group (Polski Holding Hotelowy) – the second-largest hotel group in Poland and the largest based entirely on Polish capital – is launching a one-year management postgraduate program in partnership with Kozminski University. It is an investment in leadership, strategy and management in the age of AI, combining cutting-edge knowledge with day-to-day operational practice. The program will conclude with a consulting project addressing the Group’s specific business challenges.
Polski Holding Hotelowy has been consistently strengthening its position as a key player on the market, managing a network of more than 50 hotels and properties with nearly six thousand rooms. The scale of operations, the diversity of the portfolio and the pace of change in the business environment all require strong, well-prepared leadership. The new postgraduate program is a direct response to these needs – it combines a strategic perspective with the improvement of everyday hotel processes and a focus on rapid implementation.
The program is a closed-format course dedicated to the management staff of the PHH Group and consists of two semesters of intensive learning. Classes will be delivered in a blended formula, combining on-campus meetings, online modules and selected sessions held directly at hotel properties. This will allow participants to work with real-life case studies and data. The final element of the program will be the defence of a consulting project designed to have a direct impact on operational performance and the guest experience across the network.
Developing the competencies of our leaders is an investment in the quality of services, standards and performance of the entire network. The program has been designed together with Kozminski University so that the tools and methods can be implemented immediately – from strategy and leadership, through sales and revenue management, to guest experience and technology – says Rafał Kincer, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Hotelowy.
The program puts a strong emphasis on the key dimensions of managing a modern hotel – from leadership, strategy and finance, including revenue management and pricing policy, through sales and distribution channels, marketing and brand communication, to guest experience design, quality standardisation, law and compliance, property security, digital technologies and the use of artificial intelligence. An integral part of the development path is the “Hotel of the Future” workshop, which helps translate trends and analytics into concrete investment and operational decisions. The classes will be delivered by faculty members of Koźmiński Executive Business School and renowned experts from the hotel industry – both market practitioners and specialists associated with Polski Holding Hotelowy.
This tailor-made postgraduate program for PHH leaders is firmly rooted in the real challenges faced by hotels. We focus on intensive workshop-based learning and a final outcome in the form of a practical, ready-to-implement consulting project. We combine the academic perspective with industry practice so that participants return to their hotels with solutions ready to deploy – emphasises Klaudia Fatah-Zarzycka, Director for Corporate Training and Programs at Kozminski University.
