SIXT, an international mobility service provider operating in over 100 countries, is investing in the development of its managers’ competencies. The company’s leadership team in Poland has launched a tailor-made educational program — “Manager Academy” — in partnership with Kozminski University.
The training program, designed for 37 female and male managers, focuses on strengthening leadership and managerial skills that support the management board and enhance understanding of the organization’s mission and vision. The program includes dozens of hours of practical sessions covering self-management, team leadership, business operations, and handling difficult managerial situations. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore their individual thinking and action styles. The classes will be led by renowned experts such as Dr. Iwona Cieślak, Klaudia Fatah, and Dr. Kaja Prystupa-Rządca.
“Developing the competencies of our employees has always been a priority at SIXT Poland,” emphasizes Łukasz Żurek, President of the Management Board.
“The company’s dynamic growth over the past few years drives our desire to continue setting market trends. Managerial skills are crucial to our ongoing development, which is why we place such strong emphasis on refining them. We are confident that our partnership with Kozminski University will significantly support this effort.”
A tailor-made program for SIXT Poland’s managers is not the first initiative of its kind at Kozminski University. Employers committed to leadership development often choose to collaborate with the university and actively participate in shaping the programs to ensure they meet their specific needs.
The university’s extensive experience working with the business sector and its reputation for delivering top-quality employee development are reflected in rankings such as the Financial Times, which places Kozminski University among the top 50 business schools worldwide offering both open and customized executive education. The program for SIXT Poland’s managers is a closed-format initiative tailored to the company’s current challenges and designed to address the real-world problems its managers are facing.
“We are truly pleased that companies seeking a genuine partner in both individual and corporate development choose Kozminski University,” says Dr. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Dean of the Center for Consulting and Management Education at Kozminski University.
“Our collaboration with SIXT Poland is built on a strong foundation of mutual understanding and ongoing dialogue about the organization’s needs and future plans. Together, we aim to positively impact leadership development, taking responsibility for shaping the future workforce and making the world a better place.”
The official inauguration of the Manager Academy for SIXT Poland took place on October 16, 2024, with the participation of the SIXT Poland Management Board and Dr. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Dean of the Center for Consulting and Management Education at Kozminski University.
