Kozminski University hosted the official graduation ceremony of the “Destination Leadership” development programme delivered for Coral Travel Poland. The event marked the culmination of several months of work focused on managerial and leadership competencies — the kind that support leaders’ everyday decisions in a rapidly changing business environment.
A programme tailored to roles and challenges “Destination Leadership” was a training cycle for managers and supervisors at Coral Travel Poland. The programme focused on competencies directly affecting the quality of day-to-day management: leadership in times of change, managerial communication, team building and motivation, management in difficult situations, conflict resolution, and the design thinking approach. Participants who completed the programme received certificates confirming their participation and the development of their competencies throughout the cycle.
The graduation ceremony symbolically concluded an intensive stage of learning and competence-building, but it was also an important moment for the organisation itself – strengthening a shared language of management, standards of cooperation, and leaders’ sense of responsibility.
The joint summary of the programme highlighted what is most valuable in tailor-made projects: a coherent approach to leadership, shared standards of cooperation, and readiness to transfer the practices developed during the programme into teams.
A partnership between academia and business The sessions were delivered by Kozminski University trainers who combine academic and business experience. As a result, the programme supported the practical development of competencies – based on situations leaders face in their organisations on a daily basis, rather than on theory detached from reality.
“Destination Leadership” is another example of cooperation between academia and business, in which the development of managerial competencies responds to the specific needs of an organisation and strengthens the quality of management.
