Decora S.A., one of the fastest-growing manufacturers of finishing materials in Europe, is launching a bespoke postgraduate program for its managerial cadre. The project partner is Kozminski University—recognized as one of Europe’s top business schools. The “Academy of Managers” program is scheduled to start in October 2025.
For years, Decora has consistently strengthened its market position through innovative products, modern technologies, and expansion into international markets. In recent years, the company has recorded dynamic sales growth and successfully introduced new brands and solutions that address the needs of global customers. At this pace of development, strengthening leadership capabilities – among those responsible for delivering ambitious strategic goals – becomes critical.
The one-year program will include 21 managers. It has been designed to enhance leadership and strategic skills in areas essential for the company’s ongoing transformation and growth. The curriculum covers, among others: leadership in the age of artificial intelligence, economics and trend analysis, operations management, marketing, digital transformation, innovation, practical applications of AI, as well as change and project management.
“Decora’s growth has always rested on two pillars: innovative products and the people who know how to implement those innovations. That’s why we decided to launch a managerial studies program with Kozminski University – so that our leaders are prepared not only to manage current challenges, but also to shape the organization’s future in a changing world,” says Joanna Wojtaś, HR Director at Decora S.A.
Classes will be delivered by faculty from the Kozminski Executive Business School, who combine academic expertise with hands-on business experience. Graduates will receive certificates confirming the competencies that will underpin Decora S.A.’s continued development.
“Cooperation with Decora S.A. is an example of a conscious, strategic approach to human capital development. The program was designed for leaders who combine day-to-day business practice with strategic reflection and the courage to drive change. At Kozminski University, we support the growth of managers in organizations that invest in modern, evidence-based leadership. The program we are launching is not only about transferring knowledge – it is, above all, intensive work on competencies that matter for effective management, communication, and team building. Our role is to provide tools that participants can use immediately in their daily work,” emphasizes Klaudia Fatah-Zarzycka, Director of Training and Corporate Programs at Kozminski University.
Decora S.A. owns the brands Arbiton, Afirmax, and Modee, and is one of Europe’s leaders in the finishing materials industry.
